ITA 'Oystercatcher' Hosts

On arrival by cruise ship, look for the Hosts at our Information Point.
For those arriving at the Service Base we are located at the end of the quayside, on the right as you look at the town from the ship. The Information Point will be open for all visiting cruise liners docking at the Service Base. If you do not arrive at the Service Base the Information Point will not be accessible to you because of security within the Port area. We do offer a hospitality service to any cruise ship not docking at the Service Base but not all ships take up this service. Visit us to pick up your free local information brochures. The Hosts can offer advice to suit your individual requirements. You may not be taking an excursion but if you are looking for something to do for a while then speak to our Hosts. Invergordon has a range of small shops including a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, newsagents, charity shops, gift shops, Post office and cash machines. Also available are several places to have a bite to eat from a snack to a full three course meal. You could sample the local beer or whisky by visiting one of the local pubs or distilleries. We have a museum, a small community garden and places of worship covering a variety of religious groups. For the more active, we have a leisure centre, bowling green and an 18-hole golf course, where you can hire equipment. If you prefer you could have a leisurely stroll round the Mural trail. Above all we have the townsfolk, who are friendly and always willing to spend some time having a chat with our visitors. We appreciate that you are here to see all that the North Highlands of Scotland have to offer, but please spend some time around our wee town before you leave. Upon your arrival we will endeavour to help and make sure that your visit is A Truly Memorable Day! |
